Slow & Steady!


๐ŸŽ‰ Woo, I was finally able to get some stuff going! ๐ŸŽ‰

I did a game jam and that really slowed me down and burned me out for a minute, but I'm back to working on Tiny Monster Trainer and I'm excited to see where this game goes.  ( Check out the game jam game here: Kawaii Cloud Princess )

New things:
Changed the UI style
Added a placeholder sprite for the player
Added new commands:
Call out - lets you bring out another monster, you can have up to 6 monsters out (As long as your trainer level is high enough for you to have 6 monsters)
Swap - lets you swap the position of your monsters that are out, if you have more than one out. 

Basically for me to get his update off the ground I needed to rewrite a lot of the battle code to support more than one monster being out per side. Now there can be 12 monsters on the battlefield at once.  Currently, the enemy side will not have more than one monster. The code is ready to support more,  once I add something to generate more monsters when the battle starts. That sounds like an issue for future me  (๏ฝž๏ฟฃโ–ฝ๏ฟฃ)๏ฝž

Things on my short term todo list:
Add status effects
Add player skills & abilities

I'd really like to knock out status effects, once those are done I feel like the core of the battle systems will be in place and I can start being creative with where I want to take the game.
